Introducing Kantha 001 – an exclusive collection of 80 one-of-a-kind jackets, born from antique Kantha blankets. Kantha, an ancient tradition of recycling, inspired us to take this remarkable material in a fresh direction.
Derived from the Sanskrit word for 'rags,' Kantha blankets tell a story of resilience, crafted from layers of discarded saris and dhotis, held together with intricate running stitches. With our jackets, we honour this heritage by giving new life to these repurposed textiles.

The full exterior, collar and lining of the jacket is made from 100% repurposed antique Kantha blankets.

For some aspects of the Kantha Jackets it was not possible to use recycled / repurposed components.
The zip is new - at present we have not found a way of using recycled zips due to sizing issues.
On the slip pockets, we added a light cotton lining. This was added after testing, for added comfort and durability.

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based upon the weight of your order and the destination country.
We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 1PM (Mon-Fri) the same day, orders placed after this time will be shipped the next working day.
CUSTOMS: All orders are shipped from Northern Ireland, customers shopping from the UK/EU/USA will not receive any additional fees upon delivery.
RETURNS: If for whatever reason you don't love your purchase, you have 30 days to return it for a refund or exchange, just make sure it's in its original, unworn condition with tags attached.
